what is it?
The Hawk has partnered with playlabs® to bring an exciting new offering to kids ages 13+ enrolled in the After School Youth Program (ASYP). We are offering the ASYP kids an opportunity to play select video games at playlabs® in an organized, safe, and structured social environment. They will engage in competitions with and against one another as they work with a professional playlabs® coach to grow as teammates, leaders, and players.
when is it?
Kids ages 10+ enrolled in The Hawk After School Youth Program will be able to come to playlabs® on select days this winter/spring. You’ll be able to sign up through the ASYP program but will need to register with your parents online first. Be sure to register soon because seats will fill up fast!
what games will they be playing?
playlabs® believes in focusing on games that develop real life skills like communication, leadership, and teamwork. We believe that Fortnite, Valorant, and Rocket League are some of the best games for developing these skills when combined with the playlabs® structure.
can my kids bring a friend who isn’t in the ASYP?
Unfortunately, no. Kids who are not enrolled in the ASYP cannot attend, but we have opportunities coming soon for those outside the program!
is there a cost to play?
We are happy to bring this unique offering to you for FREE! Thanks to the city of Farmington Hills, in partnership with The Hawk, your fees for this program are paid. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity and get registered today!
